The implementation of the Resilient305 Strategy is facilitated by the Progress, Innovation, and Vision for Our Tomorrow (PIVOT) team. The PIVOT Team is composed of the Chief Resilience Officers (CRO) from each of the Greater Miami & the Beaches partners and The Miami Foundation. The CROs share management of the process and provide legislative and budget guidance for implementing the Strategy.
COMMUNITY LEADERS AND INFLUENCERS
We recognized early on that the Resilient305 Strategy was not something that could be developed and led by government partners alone. The GM&B team engaged thousands of stakeholders that reflect a wide range of expertise, ages, ethnicities, cultures, income levels, and geographic areas to help shape the Resilient305 Strategy. That is why multiple actions in the strategy are led by key public, private, nonprofit, and civic collaborators who are better poised to implement these actions, including one of our key implementors, the 34 municipalities. Their partnership in implementing the Strategy is paramount.
